(Feel free to comment in this thread!)
Prefix: Sz/Sz's Suffix: SzK (as of Oct. 2023) Szmantha's Kennel first entered the showring on Feb. 1, 2023. Daniel was our very first showpup: UGCh Sz’s Pleasant with an Overwhelming Guilt "Daniel"Our showteam currently boasts:- 130+ retirees
- 5 World Champions (100+ points)
- 12 Ultimate Grand Champions (50+ points)
- Dogz from 22 different breeders
We appreciate the hard work that goes into showing dogs to at least SGCh (30 points), and strive to keep pups who come from distinguished champion lineage in the ring. We document champion lineage on our crew pages. If you happen to notice missing lineage for a pup bred or shown by your kennel, please let me know so I can fill it in! All of our champions are available for stud/dam (no genderswapping). You can send your male or female to szmantha7@gmail.com / szmantha.at.szk (Discord) with the desired stud/dam and the number of pups you'd like. (I reserve the right to keep one additional pup and will use my prefix followed by your prefix.) I will return (and delete) your file along with the litter. Our top performing dalmatians are: #1 SGCh Sz's Nine-Inch Pleasers "Filth" 5.0 show point average #2 SGCh Dandy's A Slightly-Crazed Woman You Met on Her Way Out of Town at SzK "Bella" 4.9 show point average
#3 SGCh Sz's From Portugal to Mongolia "Martagon" 4.7 show point average #4 SGCh Sz's Sunny Disposition "Meriweather" 4.4 show point average #5 SGCh Sz's Compromised "Skyler" 4.3 show point average
Our top-performing non-dalmatians are:

#3 SGCh WPR's Mother's Favorite "Chosen" 4.0 show point average #4 UGCh Sz's Euphoria "Molly" 3.9 show point average #5 WCh Cargo's Heir Apparent "Gunther" 3.7 show point average

Showing projectsCollect 'Em AllInspired by Megan @ Oasis's "Taste the Rainbow" project, this is an initiative to collect and show a PB/NIB dalmatian in all of the natural eye colors. All dalmatians in my collection are Generation 7 or higher, and ideally down the line, I'd like to replace the not-full-pedigree (*) dalis with full-pedigree dalis.
Progress: 61 of 93 eye colors Still need to earn their title: Grae ~ Jallegra ~ Albany ~ Hartford ~ Calvin ~ Hobbes ~ Finch ~ Triton Inbred dalmatian showing projectPretty self explanatory: I'm aiming to show all of my inbred tamsins/dali mixies with show lineage. I generally try to keep the trees "even," meaning I only mate dalis with 1 generation of show lineage with other dalis who have 1 generation of show lineage, etc. I'm sure it's an imperfect system, as I can't guarantee the lineage per se (but I do try to stalk crew pages as best I can). Current progress: Generation 4 (14 total ancestors)
Generation 8+ PB/NIB breeding & showing projectMy biggest/most sprawling project, which I document extensively on my website. I have 9+ of my own dalmatian lines, plus several Generation 8 PB/NIB dalmatians from other breeders, and all of them are shown to at least SGCh before being bred. These are only a fraction of the dalmatians in the project:

August '23 updatesWelcome to my (new) showroom! I realized I was tracking duplicate information in far too many places, so this thread is now the official showroom of Szmantha's Kennel. (RIP the old "supplemental" thread.) It's kind of fitting, though, because prior to this update, SzK had hit the milestone of retiring 50 showpups!I'll be doing month-to-month updates going forward, but I have to play a little catch-up with this post to ensure I don't missing tagging the breeders whose pups retired in July but didn't make it into the last update in the previous thread. (If you prefer not to be tagged, please let me know.)July retirees: SGCh Sz’s Burn This Place Down "Joan"
G8 PB/NIB dalmatian, bred here, with a 3.7 show point average. She claims the #7 spot in our all-time top performers. SGCh Xoops' Citrus reticulata x Citrus maxima "Tangelo"
G9 PB/NIB dalmatian, bred by Megan@Xoops 🌼 , with a 3.1 show point average.SGCh WPR's Medium-Sized Dish "Chuuzara"
G10 NIB "Scotch & Soda," bred by Keyglyph , with a 3.2 show point average.SGCh Sz’s You Don’t Kiss Boys, Boys Kiss You "Betty"
G9 PB/NIB dalmatian, bred here, with a 2.8 show point average. Her parents are SGCh Sz's In Love With the Wrong Person "Kitsey" x SGCh Sz's A Thing Like That "Campbell." SGCh Wild Road's Peace of Mind "Salma"
Tamsin (inbred), bred by nightwish , with a 2.3 show point average. Her parents are SGCh Powerwave's Fennec Fox at Wild Road "Fennec" x SGCh FH's A Doll’s House at Wild Road "Nora" (not owned or shown by Szmantha's Kennel).SGCh WPR's Small Dish "Kozara"
Twin brother of Chuuzara! G10 NIB "Scotch & Soda," bred by Keyglyph , with a 2.1 show point average.August retirees: The showring was a bit slow this last month, wasn't it? We only retired 5 dogs for the whole month:SGCh Sz's Let's Have a Party "Jubilee"
Tamsin (inbred), bred here, with a 4.0 show point average. That puts him at our third-best performer, with his father Panther holding the #1 spot. The show genes are strong in this family!
He is a 3rd generation showpup. His parents are SGCh Wild Road's Peace of Mind "Salma" x SGCh Wild Road's Melanistic Panthera "Panther"). His maternal grandparents are SGCh Powerwave's Fennec Fox at Wild Road "Fennec" x SGCh FH's A Doll’s House at Wild Road "Nora," and his paternal grandparents are SGCh Wild Road's Fireplace "Ashes" x SGCh Powerwave's Panthera pardus at Wild Road "Leopard" (none of his ancestors are owned/were shown by Szmantha's Kennel).UGCh Sz's Euphoria "Molly"
Technically a G10 PB/NIB dalmatian (aussie OW), bre(x)d here, with a 3.9 show point average. She moves into the #6 spot.
Like Jubilee, she's a 3rd generation showpup. Her parents are SGCh Sz’s Unsentimental "Trudy" x SGCh Sz's Beginnings and Endings "Janeiro." Her maternal grandparents are SGCh Sz's In Love With the Wrong Person "Kitsey" x SGCh Sz's A Thing Like That "Campbell," and her paternal grandparents are SGCh Sz's Blue Honeysuckle "Caerulea" x SGCh Sz's Blind Assassin "Chase." She showed in both dali and dane.
SGCh Sz's Zou Bisou Bisou "Ready"
G8 PB/NIB dalmatian, bre(x)d here, with a 3.6 show point average — which puts her tied for the #10 spot with SGCh Poppyhill’s Mammillaria hahniana "Cactus." Her mother is SGCh I Fall All the Time "Megan."SGCh Sz's Weepy, Watery, Sappy "Willow"
G9 PB/NIB dalmatian, bred here (2nd generation showpup), with a 2.7 show point average. Her parents are SGCh Sz’s Ten Days After the War Ended "Iris" x SGCh Sz’s Deciduous Among Evergreens "Oakley." She showed in dali and dane.SGCh Sz’s Your Erroneous Zones "Xandra"
G9 PB/NIB dalmatian, bred here, with a 2.4 show point average. Her parents are SGCh Sz's In Love With the Wrong Person "Kitsey" x SGCh Sz's A Thing Like That "Campbell," and she's a sibling of Betty from above. So, even though the the ring was slower this past month, our kennel did exceptionally well with 4 new top performers!***
SGCh Willow x SGCh Dorian litter!
I adopted Dorian from nebula several months ago, and in the meantime, have been breeding and showing my own line of spotlackers to try to get a completely spotless litter — which I've done with this Generation 10 PB/NIB litter! They're so cute! I couldn't get white ears and zero spots, but maybe down the line (if I continue it ). Sibyl is my keeper; she'll be entering the showring...eventually. The others are available for adoption on Szmantha's Kennel.

I have several branches going so far, with Nilla x Hasselhoff being the latest:
My keeper was the 4th one in, a male with dark aqua eyes (my favorite!) named Hemlock, who will soon be entering the showring. (The other six puppies were sold on PUGs.)

October '23 updatesThe showring was a bit more active this last month (yay!), and we retired 7 pups. In ranking order by show point average: WCh Cargo's Heir Apparent "Gunther"Gunther, a NIB Generation 8 poodle bred by Amanda , entered the showring back in July, showing in both profile and frontal. He finally retired this month as a World Grand Champ (100+ points) with a very impressive 3.7 show point average. He claims our #9 spot on our list of top-performing dogs, bumping Cactus and Ready off the list. SGCh Sz's It's Only a Dog "Emmet"
Emmet is a PB/NIB Generation 8 dalmatian bred here. He retires with a 3.4 show point average. SGCh Sz's Pursuit of Idealistic Causes "Aquarius"Aquarius is another PB/NIB Generation 8 dalmatian bred here. She retires with a 3.3 show point average. SGCh Daisy's Into Thin Air "Stratosphere" Another PB/NIB Generation 8 dalmatian! He was bred by Cher @ Daisy , and retires with a 3.3 show point average. SGCh Zan's Blessed Traitor "Benedict"Bred by zan , Benedict retires with a 2.8 show point average. SGCh Sz's Artificial Friend (B2 Model) "Klara" Klara, bred here, is a 3rd generation show champion. Her parents are SGCh Rho’s Aussitôt Dit, Aussitôt Fait "Elle" x SGCh Dec's Oneiromancy "Dream," and her great grandparents (not owned/shown by SzK) are UGCh Rho/Paperclip’s Sleeping at Last “Brizo” x UGCh Rho’s Open Heaven “Aurore” (maternal side) and SGCh Pinto/Dec's Dresden Mann "Dresden" x SGCh Dec's Drawing Down the Moon "Lillian" (paternal side). She retires with a 2.7 show point average. SGCh Zan's Defender of Womankind "Alejandra"Another zan pup! Alejandra retires with a 2.2 show point average. SGCh littersI have been a busy bee this last month, shamelessly trying to bribe people to get into showing by offering up SGCh litters (with their show pics) as show prizes for 10-entry EBW shows. From Alejandra x Benedict, I bred 11 pups, with the idea that I would keep whichever one remaining after everybody else made their picks. That ended up being Cappuccino, who has already made her debut in the showring. Salma x Panther, aka the parents of Jubilee! Given I already have Jubilee on the show team, I did not keep a pup from this litter: I also bred two extremely small "litters" (if you can even call them that) from the recently champ'd PB/NIB dalmatians: Aquarius x Stratosphere: Pinwheel x Emmet: Filth was bred with Queenie's tricolor phantasm OW, so his spots will grow in while he grows up. I'll leave his coloring a surprise for now (though he has also already made his showring debut). Butter is my keeper from the second litter (selfie lids!), but I just couldn't bring myself to delete Dancer, who has those double spots on her snout and carries black eyes. She'll probably be adopted out to a better home at some point. More prize shows? I think I'll continue to adopt out my SGCh litter via show prizes, but to make it more a bit more sustainable (as I'd like to continue offering the show pictures in addition to the .pet files), I'm thinking about hosting one standard ( not EBW) show per month with just 5 pups as prizes. Possibly 1 at WW and 1 at RKC, or alternating every other month between the two forums (probably the latter, since I really only have dalis to offer and worry about "dali overload"). I know some people are participating in Nodopt November, so November's will be a "blind" prize. I've been very hesitantly expanding my adoption pool recently to include inbred non-dalis, so I guess I should enter some of those into the showring soon. Other news: New suffix!I'm now using a suffix! I do not add my prefix to pups I adopt from other kennels, but I see the value in being able to determine what kennel a champion was shown by (such as in graphics like the ones above), so I've started using "at SzK" for new dogz entering the ring.
