Why is it that the large number, showing my total bones in the bank, does not match the numbers alongside my transactions (under "balance")?  |

I believe it's because it sometimes adds interest without listing it in your transactions. The discrepancy gets worse and worse over time as there's no real way to fix it.
Either way, the number at the top is the correct balance and that's how many bones you can withdraw.
