 I decided to use Choco, one of Heather's MPAs I adopted over the summer or fall. 1. Introduce your petz! How did you acquire them? Why were they selected? What do you already know/don't know about them? etc.Everybody, meet Choco! I adopted him from Heather in September, from an MPA thread here at Whiskerwick! I decided on him pretty fast. There were four MPAs that I have adopted, and I tend to really like MPAs, because the pet has a lot of history. Out of the four, I really wanted to get to know him a little better. I know he's got an alley personality, which is why I wanted to adopt him. I also love brown petz with green eyes. I thought his name was cute and suit him well, so I kept it. I just think he's so handsome, and full of personality    Why do you say I look like an alien??  No I am not drinking from that bottle like a baby!  Lady, quit taking pictures of me!!!  I swear to god, if you tell anyone about this... |

2. Teach your pet something new! This can be a new trick, training to jump through the hoop, how to be an expert mouser, or something outside the box, like "fashionista" or something. You can teach them as many or as few tricks as you'd like! NOTE: this entry can not be related to post shows
 Hi my sweet Choco. I missed you!  Why do you always have to look so rude?    Know what? That's going to be your new trick. I'm going to teach you how to be nice. First, let's go to the clothes closet to pick out something that will help you not look so intimidating.   Well, I wasn't going to actually use the clown hat, but you seem to just like it so much, that's what we'll use!  See? That's what I'm talking about! Look how nice and sweet you look  Choco: "I don't like him. Who shows off when you take a picture?? What a clown  Yeah, well now he doesn't like you either  Choco: "Well now I feel bad" Aww it's okay sweet Choco, let's try again with someone else  See, look at that? You can have fun with someone!  Choco: "Hey! Don't get used to it!" Okay, okay, now let's see if you can do any real tricks! Come on, choco!    Choco: "I've had enough of tricks now!! Now give me this thing!!" |

3. Take your pet to a non-original/downloaded playscene. Why did you pick this place? What type of toys/items does this place require you to bring along? Did you learn anything while you were there? Decorate it? How did your pet react to the environment? etc.
I decided to download a brand new playscene that I've never gotten to enjoy before. It would be a first for me, and a first for Choco. I downloaded Acid Trip's "Party Time" scene. I also spent some time going through sites looking for toyz or clothez I could download that somewhat correlates with the scene.
I downloaded the Nyan Cat, the plush jaguar (was looking for a plushie that had the most neon looking colors), and the two glowsticks!
I also set the scene with the music box, the catnip (obvious choice), a rainbow colored fish bone toy, and an ipawd that could definitely be seen laying around a club!
And before I could bring Choco there, I had to dress him up to fit the scene! Let's go do that now!
 
He seems to liked everything I tried on him!
 
"Must I wear this?"
No, no, let's try the shirt instead
  
"Oooh this shirt. I like this shirt"
I see! You may wear this then
Well that's something I learned!! First thing he did was jump up there, I didn't even know the scene had any ledges! That's awesome.
But he seemed pretty content on staying up there the whole evening. I was going to have to change that
Choco, don't you want to come down for this cool glowstick?
"No"
Say that into the microphone
"Hmmpf"
So I had to drag him down
"How dare you!"
"Oh wow what a lovely thing! What is this?"
"Stay away from my preciousssss!!"
No he really was obsessed with the thing. I kept trying to get him distracted with something else, and he just wasn't having it
Come on Choco, why don't you try some catnip. That's what all the cool kidz do
 
"Why did I do that??"
Yeah, that's a common question
"What's that smell? It smells so.... mmmmm"
"HEY!!! WHAT'S YOUR PROBLEM? I KNOW YOU'RE TRYING TO STEAL MY PRECIOUS!"
Choco, I don't think that's a great idea
"My precious. She just doesn't understand what we mean to eachother. I'll never let her take you away from me"
"Oh wow I never knew my hand tasted so good!"
"Don't judge me, lady"
You alright, choco?
Come on, best way to fix this is to sleep it off

4. Create a show name for your pet and take a "show pose!" Alternatively, take pictures that could be entered in a frisbee-catching or "jumping" competition. Or start their training for one of these events or capture how poorly they failed at trying to train for one of these events. These pictures don't have to be perfect show pictures! But demonstrate with your post how the experience went for you.
Oh boy, this should be "fun". Well it wasn't too bad!! Straight out of the red door, I snapped a picture, and he posed for me right off the bat!
I think it came out pretty good! This would be my first cat posing attempt. I looked up some threads on RKC to see what it should look like.
After getting the pose, Choco jumped up on the tv and hung out there for awhile
Come on, Choco, we gotta try some other shows too
Choco: "I can't even. Get that thing out of my face"
Please, Choco? You were so good at it!
Aw what a good boy!
Choco: "You see me walking all over this? I'm done with this"
Choco: "Done I tell you!"
Okay, okay, no more

Tell me about it. He really likes it! I don't think he caught it straight out of the air yet (one time was really hard to tell), but he loved chasing it, and he even jumped up on the TV with it and threw it himself!
 
Oh he liked this even better!
We gotta come up with a show name for you! You know who you remind me of? Grumpy Cat.
Choco: *offended* "Why do you say that?"
*eye roll* Exactly. Thus, your official show name is BCK's I Had Fun Once It Was Awful

5. WHO is your pet? Talk about what you learned, what the experience was like for you, etc. By the end of this, what did you get out of it? If there was a contest that was PERFECT for your pet and you are CERTAIN they would win first place, what would it be? This can be anything! What is your pet really good at? (could be eating food, or pose shows.. something you see or don't typically see.) Talk about anything else / develop the sort of "character" that your pet is.Choco, this is the last day of the project. Let's put you in something dapper for the finale.  Oh I think you look so handsomeWell I had a lot of fun with Choco. I'm glad I adopted him, and I'm glad I had the opportunity to spend lots of quality one on one time with him. He is such a sweet boy, with the perfect amount of arrogance and sass to keep things interesting! I learned that he is surprisingly good at jumping through hoops!! I'm going to have to enter him in some of those types of shows. I know he'll enjoy it! That would be the 2nd best choice if there was a perfect contest for him. The first best choice for perfect contest for him that he would hands down win?
Being a meanie-pants of course
But he's also really good at other things, like becoming a good friend of mine, and one of my petz I hold dear to my heart. <3
