Whiskerwick was founded in early 2015 when I noticed an alarming lack of capitalists in the Petz Community. There are places for buying and selling petz, yes, but there wasn't a general petz forum where anyone could buy and sell as they please. And so Whiskerwick came to be.
The currency of Whiskerwick is called "bones", and you earn bones by being an active resident! Generally, every time you make a post here you earn 1 bone. (With the exception of a few boards that are just for storage or for fun.)
Whiskerwick is designed in hopes that even people who cannot hex, breed, create graphics, whatever, can earn enough bones to buy even the priciest petz, just by being active members of the community.
Another goal of Whiskerwick is to encourage all of us to get back into our games and regain something of the PC's yesteryear. For this reason, there are no freebie adoptions allowed on Whiskerwick, and we encourage members to think about the work they put into their petz when pricing and adopting them out.
