Hey guys,
Just a moment ago I got denied access to Whiskerwick; the error message told me that my IP was banned. I was accidentally using a VPN program (I've got it for Netflix). I didn't get any warning beforehand, so I don't quite understand what happened there? I can obviously access the forum after turning the VPN off.
I mean, if I'm banned for something then fair enough, would like to know why though. And if it's something else (e. g. the use of VPN) then I'd like to know what it is too.

You're not banned, no worries!
It sounds like your VPN is causing the issue. It conceals your info, so boards.net can't identify who or what you are, and it blocks you out because of that.
I'm not too familiar with the use of VPNs so I'm afraid I can't help you find a solution to this problem... besides turning off your VPN when you're not actively using it for Netflix. I mean, it's the very core purpose of the VPN that's causing the issue, so I don't see a way to work around it without rendering the whole VPN thing useless.

Yay Well I don't usually have it on other than for films (hue hue stealing American Netflix content), so it shouldn't be a problem. Cheers.
