Favorite Breeds ranked Ever wanted to know what my top favorite breeds were? Did you want to offer some bred petz in a trade and wanted to know what I like? Simply just curious? Well me too. Im making this list so I know what petz breeds I like and why. I'm sure it'll be helpful for future breeding projects. I'll be including both Petz 4 & 5 Catz & Dogs. The list will be changing ever so often as my opinion on Petz changes and as I get to know the breeds better.
Breeds Ranked 1# Poodle I personally really like the poodle. It was my first petz breed so there might be some bias there but I think it's just such a fun breed. I love its snooty personality and the way it struts around with its nose in the air. I love how easy it is to pose for shows, even if the poses aren't the general dogz poses. The variety you can get straight out of the adoption center is amazing too, and mixies are always so cute. I only have good things to say about the poodle.
2# Dalmatian I think the dalmatians are a really cool breed. Just like the poodle a dalmatian was one of my first breeds (I got them together). They have a really funny personality which is unique (just like their spotz). They're supposed to be good posers but the one I have only ever wants to do tricks so I can't really make an opinion on that. Their variety is also amazing, way better than the poodle just based on sheer amount of spot variation. Its safe to say that they make amazing mixies.
3# Alley Cat This is a new breed I've been playing with and I've been in love with them ever since. They're so spicy and the reactions they have to even the smallest inconvenience are so entertaining, and the way they calm down immediately when you pet them is such so adorable. They have such a unique look to them with their differently sized eyes and their zigzag tail. They're a pain to pose however which is a true pain for when I want to show an Alley SCP. I think the variety they give to mixies however makes up for it.
4# Chinchilla Persian I absolutely adore this breed. I haven't played with them much yet but I think they are so freaking sweet. They are so round and fluffy and have the absolute cutest mews. That is till they get sprayed with water and have a hissy fit and screech like Satan just ate their toes. I feel bad whenever my chinchi gets sprayed for whatever reason but I've gotta admit their screeches of utter horror are quite funny. I think they're very underrated little menaces and that more people should have them, if just for the fun duality of their SCP.
5# Black and White Shorthair WIP (I swear I'll work on this)
6# Dachshund
The dachshund is a very interesting breed. It has energy for days which leads to a lot of fun interactions with other Petz but their bark is so absolutely annoying to me. Its so high pitched and rapid, they just rapid fire yap and it gets on my nerves so bad. I love their breed's look a lot with their short legs and long body, it reminds me a lot of a corgi, but so does their barking. They're a fun breed to have around but not one of my top favorites simply because of their bark.
7# Great Dane I never really got attached to this breed, I don't hate it or anything but it seems to be everywhere. I have a few of these guys but they're never the first pick of who I want to bring out. They have a cool breed shape for hexes however which is fun. I haven't really tried to pose them so I can't say anything in that regard just yet.
8# 9#
