For Day Five [age 33], I decided to figure out which food dishes were each of the pups favorites. Working in alphabetical order, we start with Bistro. Bistro first played with the Thanksgiving leftovers, then ... took a break, then it was on to playing with the leftovers in the red bowl. After another few seconds and Bistro had settled down to eat out of blue bowl. Bondi was next. She gazed into space for awhile. Then playfully batted the air with her paw. Then it was time for butt scootches. Finally, she ventured near the food, but only wanted to play. After a little more bouncing around, she settled down with the red bowl! Della immediately went for the blue bowl. I kept picking it up and moving it to see if she showed interest in any of the other bowls. She didn't and finally gazed at me until I left her alone. Harrow also very quickly found his favorite bowl. And then ate so quickly he got a stomachache! Katana was in a goofy mood. She was cautious at first, then spooked, then hid for a minute, then curious, then happy! Then it was time to feast - on the Thanksgiving Leftovers. Muriel was very unsure of what was happening but struck a pose anyway. After a few seconds she chose the red bowl as her favorite and buried her nose in it. Mythos first inspected the leftovers (taking a quick break for a posing session) before choosing the blue bowl. Predictably, Pepperberry was very silly. She immediately was fascinated with the leftovers. After carrying her plate around for several minutes, she became 'hangry' and ate her food too quickly. Raclette was a fan of the blue bowl and trotted around with it for a few minutes. Rupert wasted no time and was eating his dinner out the metal bowl. Sophia decided red was her color. After a quick shock, Tigris chose the metal bowl. Wave couldn't decide and loved the food in all of the dishes. There were also unexpected surprises today. I didn't realize that at age 33, petz are considered 'adults' in the mechanics of the game. I left my game running while I cleaned up the kitchen after making dinner and returned to ... I ended up naming him Vega. Poor Muriel & Wave were a little overwhelmed. And then while I was making graphics to post here, Bistro & Harrow decided they too wanted new responsibilities at a tender age. They both seem a bit shocked. But, their puppy is quite cute. I named her Yuna. So, now I have FIFTEEN pups in the bunch.

Day Six was filled with chaos. I decided to if the pups [age 39] might be frisbee-catching champions. Predictably, it was an afternoon of much ridiculousness. First, I checked in on the 'Teen Moms' to see how they're doing. Bistro loves to carry her pup, Yuna, around. It's like she's saying: "Look! I made this!" She since always had her puppy in her mouth, she didn't have time for catching frisbees. Muriel, on the other hand, continues to be an anxious mom. She laid down and just gazed at Vega. As a true 'helicopter parent,' Muriel didn't let frisbees distract her from watching her puppy. Bondi was very excited about this entire experience. Unfortunately, her skill did not quite match her zeal. But she kept trying. She only took a break when a butterfly appeared. After playing with the frisbee for a few minutes, Della quickly figured out how to catch it. Her catch rate was pretty good for her first time trying - when she leapt for the frisbee, she managed to snatch it out of the air about 75% of the time! For awhile I was sure that Harrow just wasn't built to catch frisbees. He chased it, watched it fly by, and pounced on it when it landed on the ground. However, suddenly, it's like it all 'clicked' and on his first leap he caught one! Katana was uninterested in catching the frisbee. She did very much enjoy carrying them around though! This picture is misleading because Mythos actually caught the frisbee almost every time I threw it. I just have terrible timing taking photos. I did finally managed to snap one shot as proof of his skill! Pepperberry had essentially zero accuracy. After almost ten minutes of leaping into the air, he didn't manage to grab the frisbee even once. However, he had a lot of fun trying and provided some of the funniest photos of the day. Raclette committed fully to this experience; throwing her self into the air and repeatedly crashing to the ground. She actually did catch the frisbee eventually, but I wasn't fast enough to grab a photo. But here's a cute picture of her carrying her prize around. Just as I was ready to put Raclette away and bring out another pup, the butterfly appeared and I caught the funniest sequence of photos. She actually ended up really liking the butterfly and chased it around for awhile. Rupert was another puppy with a lot of natural talent. He had about a 90% catch rate! A very athletic pup. Sophia never did figure out how to catch the frisbee, but she seemed to enjoy trying. She finally had enough of trying to catch it and just ran around with it in her mouth. Eventually, she decided to bury her frisbee so no other pups could play with it. Tigris spent about three minutes just chasing after the frisbee. Just back and forth and back and forth across the screen. She must have been plotting how best to snatch it from the air because when she decided to leap, she caught it! For another example of my terrible picture-taking skills, I bring you Wave. All of these were successful catches, not just the last one. He really, really liked the blue frisbee and spent a lot of time gazing at it lovingly. Somehow, we managed to get through the day without another surprise pregnancy! But here are some pictures of Vega & Yuna to enjoy:

For Day Seven [age 45], I thought it might be fun to see which Cargo Cotton Candy flavors the pups liked best! I noticed a few minutes into this adventure I accidentally grabbed two of the same, so I was missing a color/flavor, but there were still lots of options available, so I continued on. Because I am selectively lazy. Poor Bistro ... she didn't even get a chance to look at the new treats before she was mowed-over by Yuna. After a couple of minutes Yuna allowed Bistro to finally have a snack. Bistro chose the blue cotton candy - which is blue raspberry. Bondi was at first concerned, then her braincell shorted-out and she needed a recharge. Finally, she settled on the green cotton candy - which is green apple flavored. Della was such a big fan of the banana flavored cotton candy she hopped with happiness! Harrow was initially very concerned with all of the cotton candy surrounding him. But soon he was trotting around with the banana flavored option. However, the blue raspberry was his favorite. Katana found this entire situation very curious, but she eventually settled on the strawberry cotton candy. Exhausted with motherhood, Muriel picked two favorite flavors: blue raspberry & cherry! After some cautious exploration, Mythos picked the strawberry cotton candy. Pepperberry was very entertained with today's activities. He quickly identified the green apple as his favorite flavor! Raclette really, really, really liked the grape cotton candy. Rupert waded through the cotton candy forest with curiosity before settling in to enjoy the cherry flavor. Sophia flirted with a few flavors, but ultimately her heart wanted alllll of the colors and she chose rainbow. Tigris was so excited with the green apple flavor she struck a pose! After briefly expressing confusion of his surroundings and this new thing, Wave picked grape as his favorite. And, of course, we need to check in on the babies! They were very active today. Yuna trots, which is so cute! And Vega made some of the cutest faces while I was petting him.

After a short hiatus (during which I got swept-up in some fun Petz Life Discord events and posing all of my Hexed Dogz ...), we're back! And today, Day Eight [age 51], I decided to let the pups give themselves temporary makeovers. I'll put the pus in a random order in case you want to try play a round of " Who's that Puppy Dog?" Pup one chose some more 'traditional' colors - the orange spots are especially lovely! Up next we have a poodle-eared cutie showing off a nice, clean, white coat with some pretty dusty accents. Who knew red on red could look so nice?! Clearly this puppy did. This pup decided to go with a soft pink to match white & cream; a lovely combination. Next up we have a fan of St. Patrick's Day! The green/black/white combo is a bold choice. This little sprite chose a bright blue to match their spunky personality! We have another fan of more typical petzy-colors here. This combo really evokes a feeling of 'Fall Time.' Bold & bright is this pup's theme. Definitely likes to be the center-of-attention, I think. A beautiful combo here; possibly my favorite of the day. This pup must be a Valentine's Day fan - so much that they're still celebrating in March! Another St. Patrick's Day fan! The white spots really 'pull' this look together. This pup seems shocked by their new look, but they're looking great some I'm sure they'll adjust soon. I'm not sure I would have picked gray & blue ... and I would have been wrong because this looks excellent. A bold choice here, but if anyone can pull-if-off, it's this pup! Last, but not least, we have this puppy who is wanting to be one-with-the-night. This black on black look is so chic! Ready to test your Baker's Dozen Knowledge?! Check below for the ' answer key.' ... ... ... ... keep scrolling ... ... ... almost there! ... ... ...

On Day Nine [age 57], the 2nd generation of the Baker's Dozen pups hit 'age 12' and no longer need to be with their mothers! To celebrate, we decided to party by letting all of the crew pick some fun glasses! Doesn't everyone look FANTASTIC?!

For Day Ten [age 63], I decided to play a game of Friend or Foe - and find-out which pups get along (and which pups don't). Ultimately I wanted to discover who had the most friends and who had the most foes. However, the day turned into a Love Fest and now I have FIVE more puppies. The good news is I won't be keeping all of them, so I'll hold an adoption event sometime soon. First, Bistro & Harrow were pregnant in about 15 seconds. I was just trying to grab a cute interaction photo. The had a lovely little red boy - with some intense eyebrows! This is their second pup. Muriel & Wave also are very much still in love. And in about a minute Muriel was waddling around again. Their second-born was a surprise! Tan, black, & the sheepie coat surprised me a bit! But she's a very pretty little girl. Next up, we have some new love! Mythos & Tigris paired-up. Their first-born was a bit of surprise - I was not expecting the red! The mismatched lids aren't my favorite feature, but he's still very handsome. Next, Della & Pepperberry's relationship progressed ... Their first born is just stunning! Again, the red was a surprise, but a nice one! Then, suddenly, there was an interesting twist ... Pepperberry & Sophia started growing close as well. And Pepperberry's second-born (and Sophia's first-born) appeared. Like her parents' love, she was very much a surprise (that orange!). I was able to ultimately finish my challenge despite the Puppy Fest. Harrow ended-up being the most popular & friendly of the bunch. He got along with everyone! Tigris was, by far, the pup who had to most exacting standards for her friends. She only liked four of the other Baker's Dozen pups (one of which is the father of her puppy).

Back again, for another day of fun. Today, Day 11 [age 69], I decided to see which of the pups like catnip! Well, some of them at least. When playing with 'the moms', I instead spent time just watching them with their puppies. In a cute way, even though that sounds creepy. Bistro and her puppy share some characteristics - like those cute poodle ears and pretty red coats! As with her last pup, Bistro seems a little surprised there's a small dog in the room with her. I named her pup Smith. Della is a sweet, attentive, mom to her first-born. I named her Meera. Meera is probably my favorite of this second round (at least so far), she's got such a gorgeous coat pattern. Muriel seems less excited for her second round of motherhood. However, I'm sure she and her puppy, who I named Tawny, will bond quickly. Sophia isn't going to let motherhood get in the way of her career as a posing champion. Her puppy, named Lizzy is such a cutie. Tigris seemed maybe the least thrilled about motherhood. Good news is that in the Petz Game her pup, who is named Roger will be independent enough to be able to play on his own. After spending time with the new puppies, it was time to return to my original plan ... so, in alphabetical order: Bondi was a droopy lid catnip user. Harrow was a dancing-fiend. Katana got a serious case of the butt-skoothies. Mythos experienced a range of emotions. Pepperberry couldn't sit still. Raclette found something up high very interesting. Rupert was so excited he stood on his head. Wave didn't quite know what to do, but posing seemed like the solution.

Today, on Day 12 [age 75], we played a round of: " Cheese? Yes, please! or Lose the Lactose." I'm a Wisconsin-girl, so this is vitally important to me. First up was have Bistro. After initially studying the cheese with some caution, she decided it was not for her. Status: Lose the Lactose. Bondi immediately expressed her displeasure with this odd yellow thing. She disliked it so much she turned her back on it. Status: Lose the Lactose.
It appears that Della is a girl after my own heart! She immediately hopped closer to the cheese and then eat all of it in the room. Status: Cheese? Yes, please!Harrow wasn't quite sure what to think at first, but then quickly decided cheese was not on the menu today. Status: Lose the Lactose. After a few moments of studying this new thing in the room, Katana declined to take a nibble. Status: Cheese? Yes, please!Muriel walked around the cheese for a bit, but ultimately decided it wasn't quite to her taste. Status: Lose the Lactose. Mythos created a new category: Friends with Fromage and enjoyed carrying the cheese around like a toy. Status: Friends with Fromage?Pepperberry must have heard of Mythos new pal and wanted one too! Status: Friends with Fromage?Raclette was enraged with this odd thing and shook her head in concern. Status: Lose the Lactose. At first it seemed like Rupert might like the cheese, but then he decided it wasn't worth his time. Status: Lose the Lactose.Sophia was a bit cautious at first, but then decided dairy wasn't her jam. Status: Lose the Lactose.Tigris was unsure of the cheese at first and did a little handstand near it. However, when Roger tried to play with it, she expressed her displeasure with the entire situation. Status: Lose the Lactose.Wave didn't waste any time eating the cheese! A big fan. Status: Cheese? Yes, please! It seems like this crew, overwhelmingly, are not fans of cheese! But that's ok, I still love them. Finally, a quick check-in with the pups. They were very active and very cute today!

I'm getting my garden started for the year - indoors still, since the weather will continue to be too cold to have plants outside for a few more weeks at least. So, for Day 13 [age 81], I decided to see which of the pups are Gardeners at Heart. I initially thought to see if they would help me plant some seeds, but decided instead to see which of them like to be watered with the watering can! First, we have our pups who liked getting a little mini shower. Bistro, Bondi, and Harrow were all delighted with today's activity! Pepperberry, Raclette, and Rupert could have played in the water all day! Sophia and Wave were also 'water puppies' and enjoyed getting a little shower. Up next, we had the pups that were not fans of the watering can ... don't worry, as soon as I snapped a photo I stopped watering them. Della immediately was appalled and reared back, away from the watering can. The water surprised Katana so much that she spun in a circle! Muriel chose to roll on her back to escape the watering can ... which was an interesting choice. Mythos had quite the shocked facial expression! Tigris made an agile leap into the air to get away from the watering can. I also took a bit of time to play with the pups. They're currently age 9 and will be able to come out to play without their mothers very soon! I'm going to choose one puppy, out of all 7 that have been born so far, to keep for future Gameplay Adventures and the rest will be available for adoption. Lizzy is lovely with her black brows. So far, Meera is my favorite and the pup I think I'm most likely to keep. She's so pretty & so sweet! Even with his dusty lids (not showing in the picture), Roger is devastatingly handsome. Smith's icy-blue eyes and red coat are very eye-catching! He's the most energetic of this bunch and is always running around. Tawny loves toys and kept picking up items to run around with. Only a few more days left for this specific Gameplay Adventure/Challenge. I think I might go back to my "Spotted Adventures" group soon - I have a few more 'spotty' petz I could add to the group ... However, I have some really cute catz I'm saving to Naturally Raise as well. Decisions, decisions. I do want to get all of the Baker's Dozen to SGChs. (at least) and also finish their Good Petz Citizen titles, so there will likely still be several posts here for you all to enjoy.
