DAY NINE: Are your petz yearning to be Super Grand Champions?- Try to pose your new petz for petz show! Do they have a natural talent or do they have other interests? - Bonus: Enter you petz in a pose show! I've been trying to consistently show my petz as much as I can since I've returned to the PC ... and I definitely want to show these pups (if they want to cooperate). I started with Crochet since he actually already produced a super-nice puppy pose that I entered in some shows a few weeks ago. Predictably, he produced another really nice pose! I'm definitely going to have show him until he's at least a SGCh. once he's fully-grown! Dandelion also posed well! I think she'll also make a nice show dog once she's fully-grown. Fenton didn't have much interest in posing today. He preferred to leap around and be generally cute. It might just be because he's full of so much puppy exuberance. We'll try again soon and see if maybe he still might have interest in being a show dog some day. Oriole was a bit of a surprise. She's generally been a very 'pose-y' dog, but today she had no interest in posing. Anytime I had her lined up, she would jump to the side. After a few tries she got a little grumpy, so I just let her play with some toys instead. Like with Fenton, I'll try to see if she's more in the mood to pose another day.

DAY TEN: Reflection time!- What are your favorite things you learned about your petz? - Did you enjoy the gameplay contest? - Any suggestions for future gameplay contests? I've really enjoyed getting to know my Gameplay Petz! It's been nice actually playing petz again (instead of just breeding litters). This, and the Summer Olympics, has really helped me to get excited about naturally raising petz again. Dandelion, though newer to the group, is such a sweetheart. She's very intelligent and easy to train. I think she's going to make a terrific agility & trick dog. She also has some natural posing ability - so I'll definitely be working on getting her to a SGCh. (or higher) status once she's fully grown. I'm incredibly happy that I decided to follow my impulse to keep Oriole. She is hilariously funny and charming. I love her thick lab body and her stubby little legs. Watching her trot around the screen is always delightful. Crochet has been really fun to play with. He's going to be a fantastic show dog (he's already gotten two firsts in puppy shows!), so I'm excited to start showing him more once he's at age 100. He's got a talent for tricks, so I will likely also try to get him his trick (and possibly agility) titles. Like Oriole, Fenton was an impulse keep. He's a true 'mutt' - goofy and playful. Every time he comes through the doors he does a cute little twirl or a dance. So far, he's very easy-going and gets along with everyone. Hosting & participating in this has been very fun! I have decided for future games I host that I will need to make sure to have everyone use the same 'tag' in their threads (so they're easier to watch & link to the main thread). I also really liked the suggestion to use the FREE DAY to get a Petz Citizen Title (or at least work towards it) --- so I might add that. I am planning to continue posting on this thread, raising various 'spotty' pups, so there will continue to be some posts her periodically!
