Hello Whiskerwickians! Welcome to another installment in an irregular series of threads where you all get to vote on (small) changes to the forum. The poll will remain open for one month (from today) and whichever option gets the most votes will be implemented! When there is a draw or the neutral vote wins, the status quo is maintained. Should Whiskerwick have a board for playdates?Right now, playdates can go in PF Social Club (AKA general Petz talk). It seems playdates might be gaining a little more popularity as of late though, and maybe it feels odd to host activities in a more talk/discussion-oriented part of the forum.
Maybe people would like for there to be an area specifically for organizing playdates - perhaps a third board in Fairpaw Park.
If you're in favor of this idea, I'd also like to hear your suggestions for a name for a playdate board! Whatever name ends up being used will have to fit the theme (a city park/outdoor life) and capture the cozy, "get together"-y vibe of a playdate. I was thinking something like The Treehouse, but let's hear what everyone thinks!

I'm ok with it either way! If it goes in Fairpaw Park, maybe something to do with a Picnic Area? Though The Treehouse is such a cute name, I love it.

chiming in a bit after i voted, but i love the idea of the picnic area / the treehouse! good childhood memories of playdates.
maybe The (Playground) Clubhouse? 👀 a middle-ground between the park theme and the treehouse idea - a public treehouse!

SNIP SNIP, The Treehouse is open for business - the hosting playdates kind of business! I moved in some old threads so it doesn't look too barren, but I look forward to seeing what new stuff everyone will come up with.
I was pretty torn between a treehouse and a picnic area but in the end, a treehouse feels a little more cozy & more inclusive of late-evening and overnight get-togethers. (:
