 new addition!to begin, introducing Reese! hexed by Bunni @ Funfetti! he is from the peanut butter collie litter up for adoption, formerly named Mudpie.  He arrived safely in my game today, and I had a good play with him this afternoon. A real loveable goofball, he is definitely a trickster that loves performing for the camera! I was on the fence about naturally raising him as I'm in the midst of organising my show team and focusing on staying up to date with Lanii's updates (kitten i'm naturally raising) but after a play session today with him, his playful puppy personality just shone through the screen — I couldn't bring myself to just age him up! It is tempting to start showing with him given how much he loves throwing poses left and right, but I'm opting to raise him naturally for at least a few days alongside Lanii, who he gets on so well with. I have a scheduled dinner tonight and washing and grooming the dogs took longer than I'd anticipated, so the written NR log update is going to have to wait till tomorrow! It encompasses today and yesterday's sessions, can't wait to show the adorable interactions between the two (: Thank you Bunni for letting him come home with me <3

SHARK ✦ MAKO ✦ THOR ✦ GREYJOY ✦ CLEMENTINE i'm utterly in love with these new additions to the crew! these guys have quickly become my favorite adults.  Shark & Mako
Rho/Calluna's In the Audacious Seas + Rho/Calluna's Mako Man Outta You
Bought from Rho off PUGS! I can't believe these two weren't snatched up yet, I couldn't decide between them so got them both! With her snipey meezer personality and grey eyes, Shark's name came to mind immediately! I love her colours and that blue muzzle, and underlying her sharpness there's undeniable charm, and immovable stubbornness LOL. It took an hour to get a pose out of her - she certainly gave me well needed practice! Mako on the other hand has 100% oshie personality, a superbly 'fraidy boy. He didn't even want to run out of the carrier, just stopping and staring. He's just a sweetheart though, and I spent a solid amount of time petting him and giving treats, he warmed up very quickly.  Though I might not take them out together, since with him, she plays like this ↑ I love these two, they are dears.  I already know for sure that Shark and Mako will be around in my game for a long long time <3 -- ❖-- ❖ -- ❖ --  Thor & GreyjoyMy first two meezers since returning to petz! Thor was a freebie from LisDraconis, I feel so lucky to have nabbed him! He's got such a unique look, I think his proportions, heart-shaped white face and stripey legs are just lovely. I didn't know I needed a meezer with an oshie personality till he was in my game! He's incredibly affectionate even when scared, and tries his best to be brave and it makes me so <3 to see. He and Shark get on splendidly, which was unexpected! The name Greyjoy came to mind when I first took him out in my game, being - well - grey, and a joy to have. His show name is a followon nod to Game of Thrones, and I think it encapsulates him perfectly, with iron-gray fur and sandy splotches that resemble islands. He was an auction off TFM, bought from Arie , and has since lounged in my game as the residential old-looking grouch c: His air of sophistication (and grumpy condescension of other petz) has earned him the affectionate nickname Grandpa Greyjoy from me — he doesn't like to show it, but he is a softie at heart <3 last but not least, Clementine, who's also from Arie @ LF, formerly Daihatsu. She's got this marvellous blue-orange coloration, with orange eyes and selfie lids to boot! I swear I had more photos but they poofed, but here's a little pose from our tangerine lady to end the update:  |

Stella, Merlin, & Kensuke Spent the past few days focusing on my adult petz and updating my crew info, organizing petz files. Here are my new additions from PUGs! I've been wanting to focus on the existing crew and lay back on bred purchases but they are just 3. Introducing Stella (from Bec ), Merlin and Kensuke (Nostalgic)! I've been having a blast with these guys, introducing them to the existing crew and getting to know their personalities/traits!    Stella and Kensuke's names come from a children's book, Michael Morpugo's " Kensuke's Kingdom", which was a favorite of mine growing up! Merlin's name just came to me — I just think it suits him! His showname comes from a Merlin episode, "The Kindess of Strangers", which is true to his sweet dopey personality.
Stella has spunk, that's for sure. I suspect she has high independence / low trickster traits - training her is a challenge, but one I'm enjoying the process of! She's pretty and she knows it. Don't let the frisbee pic fool you - she has yet to catch one herself, but celebrates herself nontheless, and I think it's great <3
Merlinneeds an environment where it is babyproofed x) Nothing rains on this guy's parade (except ,, literal water), and he just has the best time. A big dopey boy, a trotter who digs. There's no way I wasn't falling in love with him!
Kensuke is my new frisbee and agility prospect! He's high independence and intelligence, and has a serious affinity for frisbee. He has a more serious disposition than Merlin and Stella, but he brings great focus to the team, and he definitely relishes in one-on-one training time.
Aiming to share more of the gameplay with my adult crew in addition to the babs that are currently being naturally raised!
Documenting sessions with these adults is something I need to prioritize more (: |
