Hello Whiskerwickians! Welcome to the third installment in an irregular series of threads where you all get to vote on (small) changes to the forum. The poll will remain open for one month (from today) and whichever option gets the most votes will be implemented! When there is a draw or the neutral vote wins, the status quo is maintained.
Should Breed Weeks be spaced out further?
Right now, there is a breed week every month, barring months that have returning annual events that take up a lot of time. Some months are skipped at will when there is something else in the works and there wouldn't be a lot of time to do both. This means there can be up to 10 breed weeks a year.

This works, but things might benefit from breed weeks happening a bit less often. My proposal is to bring it back to once every few months in calmer times of year. This would mean 3 or 4 breed weeks a year, (mostly) in spring and summer.
There wouldn't be a breed week on the calendar when other things are likely to be going on. For example, October would be scrapped, as the spooky month tends to inspire a lot of activity and events already. Hints pertaining to the upcoming breed week and the breed reveal would happen a bit further in advance.
The main benefit would be MORE TIME for a lot of things. More time for activities and adoptions to run their course without the next breed in line breathing down their neck; more time for organizing and participating in things to make breed weeks count more; and of course more time and freedom to do things that are not breed-specific at all. (I can't be the only one who sometimes ends up shelving ideas that aren't breed week material!)
Do we like this? Do we prefer the way things are now? Please feel free to discuss below!
