[TEMPORARILY CLOSED] Sugarmice Breeding Service! (P3+)

Helloooo and welcome to the Sugarmice breeding service! To get started, visit the Sugarmice website and take a gander at the crew - navigation's on the top right!




At the time of writing, it’s Catz (minus Tabbies) and Chihuahuas only for the time being. Other Dogz breeds will be added very soon. It’s also extremely likely that new faces will be added regularly! ETA (8th June 2021): Most Dogz breeds (all except Bulldogs and Mutts) are now available for breeding requests!

General Info:

• The service comes in two flavours! Choose two pets as the parents of your litter, or choose just one parent if you would like more of a mixed bag. Each litter will include 6-12 pets.
• The fee for this service is 5 bones. Each pet you wish to keep from your litter will also cost 5 bones!
• You may make one request at a time. Once it’s fulfilled, you are very welcome to request again!
• Breeding standards you can expect from Sugarmice are white patches, natural black (39/244) or selfie eyelids, and body/legs/feet that match the breed face (notable exceptions are Dachshund legs on shortie Dogz, and Calico shapes on Oshies/Tabbies).
• The usual nonsense applies! Pets will be very inbred/tree-trimmed. If at any time you no longer want your pet, MPA or delete at your leisure. Feel free to rename and/or swap gender. If showing, please include Sugarmice's in the prefix. Most importantly, ENJOY!

• Please only choose parents from the same page! Crossing breeds for desirable traits is outside the scope of this service (for special requests, you're welcome to PM me!)
• Pets on the Hexed and Companion pages are not eligible for this service.
• The ‘Desired Traits’ section of the form is for guidance only! If you choose to list several traits, I will do my best to represent these in your litter, but I can’t guarantee that any one pet will display all of them at once.
• Please don't request leftovers from this thread - these will be dealt with separately. ETA (June 2021): A dedicated thread for adopting leftovers can now be found here!
• Waiting times may vary! Rest assured that I appreciate each and every request, even if it takes me a while to fulfil them. I'm sure you can understand that real life takes priority. Thank you for your patience!

With the recent release of Reflet’s fantastic genetics guide and PetzByte program, as of June 2021, I may occasionally utilise these tools to make small changes to the genome of my own bred Petz which will in turn affect their offspring. In 99.999% of cases, this will be as simple as swapping 35 black eyelids (a personal Petz peeve) for 39/244 black eyelids, or more rarely, perhaps shifting the hue of a particularly unattractive eye colour. I will not use these tools to introduce new traits (such as coat types, colour combinations, markings, or ear/tail shapes) that the pet could not have naturally obtained from their parents. Any changes made will be sensitive to the years-long history and unique characteristics that, over time, have made the pet who they are. This is not a substitute for thoughtful breeding, but simply an ‘aid’ that ultimately enables me to offer a wider, richer variety of Petz for adoption.
