Here at the Cargo Calico Research Center (CCRC, founded c. 2014), our team of dedicated breeders (me) have undergone years of systematic breeding and will continue to breed in order to provide the good people of the PC with a valuable resource:

A complete visual guide and downloadable breeding pet gene pool of Calico catz in every possible coat and color combination! 


Why Calicos/Calicoes?

- They are the face and mascot of the Catz games =(^w^)=

- With four AC pattern variations and four mutating color areas, as well as randomized paintball patches, they have the most original AC variation of any breed in petz, which is cool

- Without extreme body shapes or badly outlined legs or tails, they are ideal candidates to mix into any other breed and pass on their colors and coats with minimal bad rejects created as a result

About the Calis in this Catalog 

The idea for this project goes back to 2011-ish when I started doing some absolutely massive breeding projects to improve my bred petz gene pool. I had adopted and bred a lot of pretty petz by that time, but was frustrated with trying to breed litters from petz that were good themselves but not quite perfect, or which just bred horribly, and I had very few mixie catz that actually had all three white BWS markings. So I started just breeding everything I had all together, good traits and bad, keeping the best kittens and selectively working my way to catz that only bred the traits I wanted.
Jump forward to now, I have actual thousands of my own breeding stock catz (some have had so many generations bred by only me that lnzpro only lists myself and Trimmed by Petza in the owners list!?), and am finally close enough to completing the set to start releasing them for others to use too.


- All of these Calis are High Gen, Inbred to some degree (sometimes a lot), Tree-trimmed Lineage, and Hexed Lineage. A few were bred with simple overwrites in (pink noses, I'm looking at you), but none were .pet-edited; all coat/eye/eyelid colors (everything that matters) are what they were born with. 

- They all have full BWS white markings (chest patch, facestripe, tailtip). None have or carry Cali patches.
