PetFlux has been updated to v1.1, fixing the bug that caused the Petz 4 "out of memory" errors (to the best of my knowledge). Please email me @ paragonx13@gmail.com if you encounter errors.
yikes okay whoever downloaded that between the time of this original reply and my edit now, please redownload it, hahahhaha

Thank you!! I can't wait to play with (AND BREED!!) the P5 oldies I found in my old emails!
If you told little 10 year old me that one day I'd be able to play with my P5 Petz in P4 keeping the personality and genetic info intact I don't think they'd believe you! Truly a childhood dream come true.

OMG Reflet! You are AMAZING! All your dedication and hard work... :'D so proud You will def be remembered in PC history forever xD This is freakin awesome... I've been waiting so long for this day. (even tried a few times myself to bring a pet back by hand, but failed horribly haha)
edit, so as not to dbl post: Reflet , I just converted my first 5 petz, (so freaking awesome!) but one of them became a mute... I noticed that in your converter, it said her breed was Siamese, even though her sounds are of the RBlue... not sure if anyone else has gotten a mute pet, or even if this is something to look into, but thought you might want to know... There have been several mute petz born in P4, and I want to say it was glitch sometimes in mixed breeds, where the game makes it behave as one breed, but gives it sounds for another -or something like that.

So maybe I'm doing it wrong? I can't seem to get it to work for any of my petz? It says that it worked, but then when I go to open petz4 it says "Error while trying to load petz file: Data Corruption" anyone else getting this error? It is NOT the out of memory error. Just tried it with all 106 of my p5 petz and it does the same thing for all of them

That's weird, I've yet to encounter one myself. But I thought the mute petz glitch was a Petz 5-only bug?

I don't think it's a result of my converter; the pet was probably mute in P5 Sometimes P5 does that e_e
but oh gosh thank you for your kind words ahhhHH <3 i'm so happy to be able to bring this to everyone
