Hello Whiskerwickians!
We'd like to bring attention to a member of our community causing trouble and acting maliciously. While we are not typically here for public callouts, this user has had three strikes with no repercussions. While we decided to handle things quietly behind the scenes on strike one, we are no longer willing to let this go without sharing what has happened with the rest of the community.
- Sharon/Sharebear had an initial incident with an upstanding member of WW and RKC. She copied one of their hexed pets and distributed them out to a large chunk of people under a fake email address. It was discovered shortly after via her IP that it was, indeed, Sharon.
- After this, she was also caught copying my hexed Great Dane file and distributing them to discord servers.
- Finally, it was discovered recently that she has been on the forums, PUGS, and the discord channels as alt "girlish." She received one of the stolen dane files and many of us spoke to her not realizing it was Sharon all along.
Please be wary of any emails or contact attempts from Sharon, Sharebear, or Girlish. They are all the same individual acting maliciously towards the community as a whole for reasons yet determined. Both accounts have been banned from Whiskerwick & PUGS, RKC close behind.
We highly recommend being cautious about emails or contact requests from her. Stay safe and don't let this drag the community down.

To address some further confusion over the situation:
IF YOU WERE FOUND AND PROVEN to have been AWARE OF Sharon's alternate account, including goading on her deceptive and manipulative behavior, YOU HAVE ALSO BEEN REMOVED FROM THIS FORUM.
We do not support, and will not support, members who found this behavior acceptable, who supported this behavior, who suggested and goaded sharon into getting hexies from others under her alternate name; who promoted bullying and harassment of fellow members.
We have NO ROOM for toxic behavior on Whiskerwick. |

I admittedly regret how quietly the first incident was handled, I wish everything had been out in the open from the start. Now it is! :) |

Yikes, I heard about the first incident but had no idea she came back. I'm sorry to everyone who was affected by that behavior :(

We decided to ban people who were 100% aware of the alternate accounts and deception, who chose to not report to anyone, and even throw suggestions her way of things to do while parading as girlish; not by proxy at all. If we were banning by association there were many other members of the secret server who would also have been banned from this forum. Every banned member has Arie's email, my own, and the whiskerwick official if they'd like to reach out. |
