really like, an option to not show a gender icon? it seems if you choose a gender in your profile you're locked into having one forever and can't remove your preference. i know i'm not the only person here who identifies as something other than male or female and having at least an option to remove the icon from posts etc would be nice :)

Yep, I was going to point out that guide too haha.
You can also set it to not display your gender on your mini profile if you edit your account and go to 'Privacy'. This doesn't get rid of it completely, but it'll be out of sight.
