Hello friends I come here to you today to talk about white patches. You know the ones. Most commonly acquired by the Mutt and B+W Shorthair breeds, though there are a couple other breeds that pass them as well. So what's so great about them anyway? Idk tbh, they just look good. :)
When it comes to these patches I, like many others, prefer them in a complete set. But what qualifies as a set you ask? Well that varies from person to person! In this guide I'm going to share what I personally consider to be the best patch sets on catz and dogz!
(Hey feel free to PM me with your own graphic if you have a different opinion and I will add it here!)
Catz

Catz are the easiest to learn! There are only three types of white patches you can get! Face, chest, and tail. I prefer catz with all three of them at once. Also, it is possible for the tail patch to only consist of two or one tail balls. Those are not good in my opinion!
Dogz

Dogz are more complex and where most people have different opinions about! For me, I have a set minimum which I circled. The tail tip patch I didn't circle because I think dogz are pretty with or without them! There is also a hip patch that I am indifferent to. (It is located on the other side of this dog.) When it comes to feet patches, I like at least one foot to be patched, but the more the merrier. (To me it just feels imbalanced without one.)
So there you have it! I hope this has helped anyone who has had any questions or concerns about what the "good" patches are. Remember, this is all just my opinion and may vary from yours!
Want some tips on how to start incorporating these patches in to your bred petz? It's possible to get an AC Mutt and BW to come out with all of these patches highlighted. I say find at least one, adopt it, close the game, clone the hell out of it, reopen the game, gender swap a few, start breeding! When you clone a 1st gen and have them all in the game at once they get treated as completely different petz so inbreeding is no problem. (I guess this could be seen as cheating, but who doesn't love a good shortcut?) Only keep the offspring that carry all the patches, and then start breeding them to your crew. Behold all the cute babies people will be willing to pay top boneroos for!
