Since whiskerwick's holiday spirit still doesn't seem to be dying down, even with plethora of nostalgia related activities, I figure it might be fun to bring back an idea that hasn't been done in a long time: A Petz Advent Calender! You can poke around one from years part here, but the basic idea is that every day from December 1st to the 25th, a new set of petzy goodies are revealed. Of course, in order to have goodies to give out, we'd need to start collecting donations now. So, I'm wondering if there are enough people interested in both donating gifts and participating in general to make something like this worthwhile. |

yes Yes YES I'll participate for sure aswell as Donate. In fact I already have some Petz set aside for the Holiday Swap that I'd use for this instead  |

Fantastic idea!
I also have some set aside for Holiday Swap that I'll donate to this instead. Might be hard to have both, since the PC is smallish now.
I loved those massive, multi-site find-its back in the day, leading to a puzzle to get the prizes! Or just a regular advent would be cool too, and prob better so it won't consume my life...

A multi-site advent puzzle would be AMAZING! mistlepinto is all about the puzzles - maybe we could do something similar to the thing where I got Swirlie? My issue with the advent was always about the hexies - in previous advents, they'd go up for download and then everyone would have the same petz >_> does anyone know how to sidestep that issue? |

I agree, unique petz are more fun. I dunno if the Ww admin team would be up for the extra work, but maybe upon completion the participant can email Ww admin a password/solution, then they will be sent their prize petz (would be more for 1 big gift of a few things rather than a true advent of a gift every day since this would be way to much of a headache) and a link to non-pet, non-unique prizes. |

I'm glad to see there's interest! Kehaar having unique hexies wouldn't be hard - just have everyone who wants want one pick a different eye color, that way everyone could have a unique pet. Bred petz are harder; we could either have downloadable adoptions, or just breed large litters and have individual adoptions on a first-come first serve basis. edit: ninja'd by elvy Or that would work too! ^ but re: the different eye colour thing, you'd still have a great deal of that one hexie floating around, even if it had different eyes!
I'm thinking of finding a download hosting site that maybe allows for one download only? Is that possible?

Eh, I guess... it's kinda unavoidable though, unless someone would be willing to do more in depth customs for hexies.
Anyways, I know someone at some point had unique downloadable adoptions, so I could poke around and see what I can find on that front

skissors, Jewellz @ Reverie has one click adoptions on her websites. I think that's who you are thinking of. I'm sure she would be willing to give some insight on the matter. I'd be pro a multi-site scavenger hunt aswell. I already have a rather difficult-ish one set up on my site for December once I publish the site on Thanksgiving. So I'm game for participating in that aswell were we to do it.
