Got a proper application for an adoption today. The person literally said they play with and feed their petz at least once a day. Omg.

Well... no haha. I don't think I've really played petz that way in like 15 years, and the same goes for most people who have been into petz for a long time. Even when I first joined the community ~10 years ago, saying "I will play with and feed this pet every day" was like this prehistoric phrase that brought on collective childhood flashbacks of working on over-the-top applications no one could ever reject. It's right up there with "it looks just like my real life pet who just died".

^I still do play with most of my pets - in rotations so I guess it doesn't count as "every day" then... but it's like, one of the best stress relievers and therapy tools/coping mechanisms I have. thyme23.tripod.com/Petz_Fun_Center.htmlhas this been added yet? I remember actually using a lot of these ideas or coming up with similar things myself. They're so cute. |

It's definitely nice to regularly play with your petz! I just don't think most people really do that anymore. I only really play just to play, maybe once every couple of months, tops. It used to be more, it's just gotten less and less over the months.
Anyways, omg, that site is brilliant. I remember one time I'd asked my friend to come hang out with me on the chat box on Silver Moon and she forgot and I spent hoursss whining at everyone else in there. Also... the petz there have boobs.

Nostalgia: I just popped into say, I just found a CD with ALL my old petz! Neatly organized with a gif of each pet next to their file. And from 2007, LOL, I feel old. Geez. That was from 8 years ago?! Anyways I'm very excited to look at all my old petz and will be posting a throwback thread to show them all off. |
