Whimsy is correct, Home Owners are supposed to have admin powers in their homes, but only rafa can fix that for you; and yes, it wouldn't be possible to make it so that you can move your own threads from elsewhere to your home. As for creating subboards, it can only be done while accessing the global forum structure, so it's not something we can grant to members. Doing it on request is possible, but I think it would easily get messy and it could potentially add a lot of work for the staff. I like the idea of homes becoming a little more exclusive! I don't want to make you guys pay for it though as long as admin powers aren't included, so we'll have to wait for rafa to return... :c I'm not too fussed about the whole profile/signature button thing. You can easily put a link in your signature yourself. I'm not sure if it's even possible to add custom buttons anyways. But if a lot of people like the idea, at the very least we can run a contest for designing a uniform button everyone can use (and maybe customize a little). Yes/no? This is slightly unrelated, but it's something I've been wondering about. Are you guys happy with the division between homes and shops? Because I find it kind of confusing and redundant. Merging them would also solve the issue of one of them being so inactive, haha. This is not something that'd be easy to change, and I don't want it to be like PUGS where you have to spend a long time saving up before you can open a shop and really start earning (though it's easy to make bones by posting!), but just throwing it out there for discussion.

I like the idea of really 'buying' a house on WW C: Makes me want to save up my bones so I can buy one then :3 I also think the way the houses and the shops are divided is good, if you are new it is easy to find everything!
Also ideas what to post: *Past litters -- with mom/dad photo and who owns them now *Petz Pairs -- Sometimes you have two petz who really really love each other, so why not show them off? <3 *Passed Petz -- I have quiet a few petz I either lost or their files got damaged so maybe a small place for them would be great *Color/Marking Collection -- Show off ALL your orange/black/spotted/whatever petz, that might also reveal something about what colors you really love and what you really don't like XD

I also think the way the shops are set up now is perfectly fine. They're easier to locate, and some people might want to open a shop, but not necessarily want an entire personal board Plus it's easier to see when things get updated than Clawley Lane.

this is one thing that always bothered me about Clawley! I hate how you can't see the "last posts" while on the main forum and have to actually go to the board to see if anyone has posted anything recently.. it honestly causes me to completely forget the board even exists. idk if there's even a possible fix for this, considering each person's home is its own sub-board.. but it's just something that I've always found a bit irritating.
I also like how the shops are set up right now; I feel as though it could get really confusing merging them all into one. I do think, however, there needs to be some more incentives to use Clawley -- as of right now I'm basically only using it to track my petz show points.. which is useful, but not much of an incentive to draw people in to my home :/

^ Community Center and The Post have sub boards too but you can still see if there are any new posts, so that's not it. There's probably some setting that disables it for Clawley Lane. I'll look into it! Edit: If I set it up like the other boards, it ends up looking like this... Um... it's... really messy and ugly. :c I can't hide the top one because the bottom one will also be omitted. I think the current situation is actually better haha. It's probably never going to look the same as The Post etc. because Clawley Lane has posts directly under it, rather than just sub boards like the others.

Arie - I don't know if it would be possible to rearrange how it's set up now while keeping all the boards in tact, but I think the reason why it shows up twice is that you can actually post threads in Clawley Lane. If you could make "Home Requests" its own subboard under Clawley Lane and put in Rafa's sticky explaining it as part of that subboard it should make it so that it only shows up once like in Fairpaw Park or Flea County Fairgrounds. I think that would work if that makes sense - like I said, I don't know if it's possible... Edit - PS If we cleared out some of the boards that were never posted in by inactive members it would make it look more organized as well! Edit 2 - Nvm just saw that Fairpaw Park has it's own threads too rather than just subboards. But if that's the case shouldn't there be a way to make Clawley Lane work in that way too?

Perhaps we could create a sub-board for requesting houses and other various things that are typically not in a sub board and that could fix the issue?

I have no idea how Clawley Lane is set up exactly, it looks like there is an empty placeholder forum (the one you see in the forum index) that redirects to the one that actually has all the threads and boards in it. I'll look into it. Worst case scenario, I can try and create a new CL and move over all the threads...
I don't want to just delete inactive homes, in case the owner comes back. Should be possible to hide them, though - we just need to agree on the criteria for hiding, if we're going to go with that.
Edit: Uh okay I think I might have figured it out - can somebody maybe check if CL's icon changes to indicate new posts? ALSO while I was messing around in there, I figured out how to add sub board specific moderators! So you guys get mod privileges in your homes now (let me know if you didn't get them yet).
