Does interest give half bones?

More because I'm weird and find it fascinating:

2 bones of interest at 216 bones, 3 bones of interest at 243 bones(and it's saying it's giving 3 every time).

I'll take out 5 bones and see if I get 2 or 3 as interest tomorrow with the same amount in there and edit this post to say which. After that I'll stop going on about it, I promise, but it's so interesting!
