We hold on to the .pet files. It's not that much work! And if we didn't, it'd be the advent calendar all over again which was an unorganized pain in the back. Really, it is a lot more work keeping track of who has gone inactive, if people are sending out their petz, etc. I'd rather have the prize box organized and dependable!
I do like the idea of ~mod approved contests~ that can give out prize box points, though we shouldn't give them out too generously imho. And again, checking back who won etc. isn't that much work, we have to check contests to see if they're finished so we can move them accordingly, anyways!
Oh and I'm not sure if you noticed, but we already keep a list of who has PB points. It's in the 'about the prize box' thread.
