Day two means it's time for these two diddums to meet! Without further ado, let's throw them together and see how we do.
At first, Tulip has a huge problem with Pluto. Which, of course, is the exact opposite of what I thought. Thanks for making me look stupid, guys.
("No worries Mum!")

However, after a few minutes, the ice has broken and these two start getting on like wildfire!

It's apparent now that these guys really like each other; their faces when the other was sent back through the Petz door say it all.

Perfect! Now we have a pair of BFF's, let's take them to the toy closet to find which ones we like the best. Just to see what would happen, they both go into the surprise box, and it turns out, they're both freaking adorable.

That's when Pluto ever so kindly points out the AMAZING bubble maker to Tulip.

Tulip is now obsessed with the bubble machine, but also decides she wants to bring the star ball to me to play fetch. Maybe you were actually a dog in your past life then? Pluto likes the water bowl... This carrying it around is becoming a habit... weren't you scared of it yesterday?

Next on the list is a trip to the beach! Tulip quickly forgets the bubble maker which I'd so carefully selected for her in favor of a simple stick. To my delight, she initiates another game of fetch! Meanwhile, Pluto's still carrying around that damn water bowl... Yes, I get that you've conquered your fear, good job.

Tulip then turns to shell collecting and foraging along the shoreline. Pluto watches carefully, still carrying that bowl.
Even when she investigates a stray hermit crab, she's still got the bowl (I'm worried we're going to need an intervention).

Alright, back to the closet now... I want to see if you guys have enough energy to play paintcan after your romp at the beach. Apparently, they do. They take to the obstacle course I've made of paintcans and paintbrushes in every colour possible.

Umm, apparently Pluto likes green. Nope, wait, blue! As long as it's a garish, eyeball-burning colour, Pluto's happy. It's all good, Tulip doesn't care who's what colour, 'cause this is how the world usually looks when she's catnip trippin'.

Okay Pluto, how did you end up looking like a Christmas tree ornament, when Tulip managed to make herself look half decent? Honestly. Now that I can't even remember what colour you are originally, let's go chase some mice with our new psychadelic paintjobs!

It becomes very clear Pluto HATES mice ("You let vermin run through our living room??"). Tulip, however, finds them fascinating. I believe we might have a champion mouser on our hands in the future!

Well, that wraps up another day! Time to put these little bubs to bed for a well-earned rest <3
