I wasn't majorly worried about it as much as wondering where everyone was at/if it was something people were thinking about. Since I've been back, I've definitely noticed a huge difference in the auctions, but you're right, the sales/bred petz section hasn't really changed much at all and it isn't hard to rack up the bones/newbies should be fine in that regard.

I think part of what caused me to post this, too, is that at some point putting petz up for sale when 5 bones isn't a lot makes it seems that the exchange of bones in the sales section will loose its purpose eventually (what is 5-10 bones, really?) where the auctions seems somewhat hyper-inflated. Right now, I think people are really excited to post adoptions because the bones system is so new/WW is still a newer forum within the community and I'm hoping that once everyone has enough bones that get them where they need to be, that it won't become a deterrent for adoptions/finding ways to gain bones, etc. Like, right now everything is working amazingly. I'm just thinking, I guess.
I see what you mean by the sales thing. But at the same time, I think it will always be around
just like at RKC. Everything is free there but people still adopt out petz. Plus people do huge breeding sprees and would like a way to get rid of tons of leftovers, so sales helps with then. Then you can auction off what you deem the best ones you got. So if you can sell a lot of cheap petz, it may add up to one bigger one
