I'm not sure I like the idea of having a dummy account, it kind of sounds like a hassle to me! Plus it wouldn't deplete the need to keep track since you'd still need to keep track of all the transactions to keep your finances in order (where did these 1000 bells go? how many bells where in here last time I checked anyways?!) so it's the same as now, except you have to log in and log out (which I expect to be a pain in the ass with proboards, since you have one account that works on all proboards forums, so if I log out here, I'd be logged out everywhere else as well)... since the custom title thread is currently the only thread that puts money into our treaure chest, it's not that hard to keep track of right now. All in all I think I'd rather keep it this way!
A dummy account also doesn't really allow for anonymous donations, since all the staff members would be able to see who donated. Right now, if you were to donate, only the one staff member you sent it to would know. Not that donations are a thing right now, although I do like the idea!
Of course, if the rest of the council thinks it's a good idea, I'll happily join in! I just don't think it would actually make things a whole lot easier.
As for what we're going to do with those extra funds, we had a bit of talk about that a while ago, and we were thinking of putting them in the prize box, as an alternative to having to pick a pet. I also like the idea of using the bones for birthday gifts, but I don't think it would work out that well - with over 100 members and no steady income, we either can't afford to give everyone something, or everyone would only get like, 10 bones.
