Van white with cali patches is <333 and this! a lower bicolor pattern paired with 1 white cali section and the patches over the white - and it's possible :D - these are nowhere near finished, just direct Siamese crosses, but it's possible to get the full ears on other breeds! It is a rare marking for sure, you won't be able to (pretty sure) breed it from any siamese coat cat who has lost the full-ear marking, and it doesn't transfer between variations of the pattern. So gonna have to start with brand new Siamese in each pattern that I want and then breed for a coat split PLUS keeping the rare marking from each. THEN cross that to a Siamese ear-only split and hope to splice them together on the same cat. My work is cut out for me...

Alright. sooo I think I'm finding that full Siamese ear points mutated onto Cali MPCs is...not possible after all. ;-; I've bred several hundreds in the last few days from what should be a perfect pairing of traits, trying to get that coat split (or Any split) with the full colored ears! But what I'm seeing is that every cat that comes out with the full colored un-mutated ears is always 100% Siamese (like side 1 below) and never has any breed trait swap. As soon as any mutation happens (such as a split to combine traits with another breed), it reverts to just the ear tip. But! It's not all for nothing, because A) It occurred to me why these rare ears happen! In the Siamese breedfile, the L and R ear1 and ear2 balls are grouped separately, so ears1 are grouped with the base/body color area, and ears2 are grouped with the point color area. Most of the ear addballs making the actual ear shape are Colored like the point color area, but they are based on ears1 which is the body color area one. So when you breed them, the game Wants to make the kittens look like what they look like straight out of the AC (with the full colored ears), but how they are grouped is stronger and defaults over the AC full colored ears almost all the time. Same thing with Cali full colored ears! :) B) I did get a coat split (minus the full ear points) for clear tail Siamese coats onto Calis! That was the last one I needed, so now I can breed MPCs with every tail point variation :) C) I have lots of cats with Siamese ears only now, so I can definitely make a Siam ow with some cute new ears?! also I put a couple red pupil variations into the Siamese for red-reflecting blue eyed colorpoints, and that is very good fun -
