I should note that PetFlux is going to take longer. Bugs, bugs, bugs, another day another corrupt pet lol

That's alright! Always admirable to have a quality product, haha. So have you gotten any of them to convert successfully yet? I'm so curious.

Not yet, but I'm very close I'm gonna be taking a break today, since I've been going pretty hard with both PetFlux and genetics hacking and I don't wanna burn myself out. I also might be going away this weekend, in which case I won't have access to my desktop PC (where all of my various hacking/programming tools are). Rest assured, I WILL get this

It's a good idea to take a break. You'll see the cracks you didn't see while you were tired. My Petz in my 4 and 5 crews are so anxious to meet each other. Do you like bred Petz? And if so what traits do you like? I would love to get started trying to breed a perfect pet for you if I could. ;w; This is all so amazing.

Lately I've become a fan of selfie lids (but tbh that's not something you need to breed for, I don't really care if people hex eyelid colors lol) -- When experimenting with genetics, I realized I love the look of eyelids that are a darker version of the pet's fur. For eye colors, my favorites are pink (75), green (130-139), and blue (171-179). I'm also a fan of mutt patches -- particularly, I like face streaks, chest patches, hip patches, and tail tips (but it doesn't have to be all of those! I'm not picky). oh and I LOVE double face patches...! Other markings are fun too. Surprise me! That's all I can think of at the moment. Of course you don't need to, but if you want to, there's my list <3

I suppose I should remind everyone that I'm far from proficient in code -- Rather, I'm pretty much learning as I go, so sorry if I'm slow ;w; I've also started programming that genetics utility, I may merge that into PetFlux when it's done. I feel like once I get the converter aspect done, I'll gradually add stuff to make it a multi-functional tool (rather than releasing several small tools, combine them under one interface).

Ooh you mean like you'll first upload the original PetFlux, as in the converter and then update the program to include more and more things? That sounds really cool! I love that idea! <3

It's really neat to have a P5 converter and I am happy to be patient. I do have a question about it--when you say backward compatible, do you mean like...it will maintain the family tree and you'll be able to breed it as if it were a P4 native pet?
