Task One
This is Rabbit, so named, no doubt, because of her ears. She's one of a number of petz of mine from a few years ago. I moved them all into a folder and haven't looked at them in a while, so I thought it would be good to use one of them for this competition. I picked her because I like small catz and I can't resist the funny proportions Chinchilla Persians have. She's a Chinchilla Persian/Egyptian Mau/Honey Bear/Siamese mix. I brought Rabbit out to play along with my pygmy hedgehog, Merlin. Almost immediately, they curled up with each other and took a nap. We'll see if she's more active the next time I take her out.

Task Two
I decided to start out this task by seeing how well Rabbit responded to treats. As you can see, she was very, very interested. Look at her licking her lips in anticipation. She also was very good at hanging off of the treats with angry, hunting eyes. And once she ate the treat, she went on to attack the whole box. I brought out a mint to see if she was interested in other treats as well. As you can see, she was. She was even interested in stalking animal crackers when there were so many other distractions around. I then decided to see how she responded to actual mice. She noticed them right away. She was also very good about chasing them and pouncing on them (though I never managed to get a screenshot of that). That was, at least, until she fell asleep in the middle of the rug and just let the mice run around as they pleased.

Task Four Introducing: Seerow's Hop to It!
I was pretty excited to try posing Rabbit, since this is something I've never tried before. Here's the first semi-passable pose she gave me, but I can see that the tail is all wrong.
Unfortunately, things did not get better after that. Rabbit didn't seem particularly interested in the camera, or treats, or getting picked up and spun around. She just did...whatever she wanted.
Here's another pose after lots of trying, but again the tail is still wrong. She wouldn't fix it.
But she thinks she's a total cutie who doesn't need to pose for silly shows.

Task Five
Rabbit likes wandering around and exploring, but mainly likes playing with whatever toy interests her at that particular moment. If there are mice, she might ignore them, or she might just play with them, but she's certainly not going to be serious about anything. Except maybe eating. Rabbit will be serious about eating. Not a lot of my catz like eating, which is too bad because I've recently downloaded a bunch of interesting food toyz that they're just not interested in. Rabbit, though, pulls through for me. She'll definitely investigate whatever food I put out for her. So: toyz and food. That's what she goes for. Posing? No. Tricks? No. Chasing mice? No. But she's happy to run around, aside from when she's sleeping.
