As soon as you pass the "Population: 200" sign, it slowly begins to register--you're not in the city anymore!
Luckily, today is the perfect day...sunshine, a light breeze, bird chirping. It's the type of day that you ride through the country with your windows down, so you do just that, and let the warm air filter through. As you pass houses with well-kept yards, welcome flags fluttering in the breeze and a variety of flowers offering sweet aromas, you realize that this part of Whiskerwick is almost like a paradise on earth.
Up ahead, you notice the Clawley Lane street sign and slow your vehicle to make the turn. So far, you're still on the right path, you notice with relief. Clawley Lane is filled end-to-end with kennels, catteries, and ranches of various sizes. Is that a zebra in that front yard?! Indeed, it is! Toward the end of the road, you take another turn, onto a small dirt road.
This road isn't marked, but after you glance at your scribbled note with directions, you know you are still going the right way. The dirt road is narrow and doesn't look heavily travelled. It is almost like a tunnel, the trees overhead meeting to make a canopy. The road only stretches a few miles before opening up into a large clearing, showing off the vibrant green hills of several acres.
You are here: Mudflap! As your drive down the tree-lined driveway, horses in the fields adjacent to the driveway lift their heads momentarily to gaze at you before returning to grazing. You drive between the barn and the kennel, and can see a girl walking near what must be the house, 3 dogs flanking her heels.

Welcome to Mudflap!
This is my little corner of Whiskerwick, and you can call me Jules. Mudflap was officially established in August 2015, though dogz were shown in Jan/Feb 2014 briefly, under the same prefix used today (Mudd's).
I've played Petz (4, although I also have 5) for around 17 years, since I was about 11. Do the math, and I'm 28 now I've never been too active in the PC except when I was in the Kennel Club Association (KCA) showing under the prefix Riverbottom's until it closed.
A 'mud flap' is the piece of rubber hanging behind a tire, usually on an 18 wheeler, to keep mud from the tires from flying onto other vehicles. Why did I pick Mudflap? I'm not too sure, honestly! It is unique, unused, and sounds 'country' to me. That's what I am, and that's the basis of this kennel: just a simple, southern, and 'country'.
Currently, I am playing Petz three different ways: trying to establish show careers for my dogz, working on an ongoing Dali breeding project, and WW gameplay challenges.
Please feel free to comment anywhere here at Mudflap, unless otherwise stated. I love to get comments and don't mind helping someone if I'm able.
Thanks for visiting...come back soon!
